Sam Lazar Riviello is Head of Operations & Events for Sandbox Films, where she leads the operational and financial functions and develops the systems and infrastructure that support the company’s long-term growth. An establishing partner of Sandbox Films, she plays a key role in shaping the organization’s strategic direction, brand identity, communications, and public presence, while guiding cross-organizational initiatives that translate mission into measurable impact. In addition, Sam manages the company’s studio space and leads the execution of all Sandbox Films convenings and events, including the organization’s signature gathering, Camp Sandbox.
With nearly two decades of experience in operations and nonprofit management, Sam specializes in building collaborative, mission-driven teams and sustainable organizational systems. She holds a Master of Administrative Science focused in Nonprofit Administration and Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Bachelor’s degree in Film Marketing from Brooklyn College.
