Sam Lazar Riviello helped launch Sandbox Films and now leads Operations and Events, overseeing fiscal administration, strategic planning, the Sandbox office, and team culture. She also stewards Sandbox’s brand and public engagement, and manages the production of all company events.

With nearly two decades of experience in operations and nonprofit management, Sam is passionate about creating collaborative, mission-driven teams. She holds a Master’s (MAS) focused Nonprofit Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Bachelor’s in Film Marketing from Brooklyn College. Sam also serves on the Northeast Regional Advisory Board of Dogs for Better Lives.
